Game, Set and Match… Mr and Mrs Andy Murray
When Kim Sears married Wimbledon Winner Andy Murray on Saturday, it was a match the town of Dunblane was proud to host. The bride dressed by Jenny Packham braved the cold temperatures and thrilled the crowds with her vintage / boho gown, the hand decorated dress was full of jewels along the sleeves and around the back. Not to everyone’s tastes the dress sent twitter in to a frenzy you could say in tennis terms it was “Love 15!”
Andy Murray’s Wedding in Flowers.
It seemed like the whole town had got behind Scotland’s favourite son and his new bride. The flower creations were stunning by Edinburgh event florist Planet Flowers… the team of talented florists had descended on the Cathedral the morning of the wedding to add the finishing touches on the freezing cold showery, “hail Stoney” morning. The bride carried a scented bouquet of Paper whites, Akito, and avalanche roses, with pale pink and white ranunculi’s and fragrant Eucalyptus foliage. Whilst Andy Murrays buttonhole was Blue Thistle (erynginum and cream spray roses) to add that Celtic touch! Inside the 300 seat Cathedral the Aisles were decorated with tall trees and white hydrangeas.
The now Mrs Andy Murray was carrying a very fitting bouquet also.
